Hi there, and welcome to my little corner of the internet! I’m Jo, the founder and creator behind Moonlight Cottage Skincare. For over 14 years, I’ve been crafting handmade, cold-process soaps and skincare products with a deep love for nature and the art of simplicity. Each bar I make tells a story, crafted by hand and heart, with ingredients that come from the earth and are kind to your skin.

My journey into soap-making started as a way to create something pure and natural—products that were gentle on the skin, free from unnecessary chemicals, and rooted in tradition.

Along the way, I’ve spent countless hours studying essential oils, botanicals, and natural colorants to perfect my craft. With a small-batch approach, I make each product with care, ensuring that it’s as unique as the person who uses it.

When I’m not in the studio, you can find me enjoying the peace of the countryside, gathering inspiration from the plants and herbs around me. I’m always thrilled to share what I’ve learned, and I hope this blog offers you a little bit of that same calm and connection with nature.
